Registered Massage Therapy
WHAT IS REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPY (RMT)?
Registered Massage Therapy is the manual treatment of the soft tissues of the body including muscles, fascia, tendons and ligaments. RMT is effective at alleviating the pain and discomfort associated with every day occupational stresses, postural problems, muscular over-use, general muscle tension and many other acute (short-term) and chronic (long-term) conditions. It promotes relaxation, stress management and increased blood flow and lymphatic drainage. Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) work with a wide range of clients in the treatment of illness, injury, surgery rehabilitation, disability, pre and post-natal care, and the promotion of good overall physical and mental well-being.
